I always explain to non-Chicagoans that after eight months of Windy City winter, the city graciously apologizes and thanks its citizens for enduring the snowy brutality by providing non-stop activities in the streets of Chicago for the duration of flip-flop season. Summer is, no doubt, the best time to live in Chicago! So to kick off this festive season, I began compiling a list of all the exciting events and activities I wanted to experience this summer. Well, as you can imagine, my TO DO List became so extensive that I just had to share it with the public! So if you, too, were shaped by a parental summertime mantra like "It's beautiful outside. Turn off the goddamn tv, get off your ass and go enjoy it!", then this is for you!
